True. We ship our pieces unfinished and dusty to protect them from rusting during transit. Did you receive a copy of our Care Instructions with your order? Wiping down with a paper towel will make a big difference. You can use the other tips on there to achieve a variety of finishes within a short period of time, too.

It's a little discolored compared to what the photo shows, but will still look nice hanging up.

Disappointed. I bought this as a gift for my husband and I was so excited to give it to him, however, once it arrived I was embarrassed to give it to him. You can see the burn marks from the machine that etched out our daughter's name and the arrow. It is very rough around the edges and I will not be displaying it in our home. I would have to say this company doesn't take pride in their work.
We don't think that's a fair statement. We absolutely do take pride in our work. If you feel there's something wrong with your order, please email us at [email protected]. We ship all of our products raw, dusty, and unfinished and with care instructions for how to quickly shine it up. I'm sorry your expectation was different than what you received. We do share that information in each ad, though.
