I was expecting this to be hard plastic but it's fabric with a coating on it. It's really cute and exceeded expectations - I've gotten lots of compliments on it.

These cases are cloth but are sturdy (maybe cloth secured to a hard plastic shell?) and after a week of use, mine still looks brand new. Really like this case!
