It may have been stated, but I assumed it would be sanded and painted, but it was just raw wood. It will be cute once it is painted though.

Very pretty. I actually purchased this in error bc I thought it was the metal one. Wasn’t expecting it to be unfinished so I need to buy some paint to get the full affect. I’m not very crafty but this would be great for someone who loves DIY projects. You can paint it many colors whereas I’ll probably stick with black to simplify it. The description was accurate; it was my mistake for ordering the wrong product.
