Never received the item

First off, these are adorable! I bought them not for Easter use, but as a reward for chores (my kids earn a certain amount of points for chores, and when they earn enough they get to pick a token). They are LOVING it. So why 3 stars? Because the smell is crazy. They are the burned wood, so it made sense when I first unpackaged it that it smelled like a campfire. With a chemical-ish scent as well. It was so strong that after I had initially unpackaged them on my bed I actually had to wash the blanket I had placed them on because it still stunk hours later. I figured that they just need a little time out of the package and they’d be fine! I left them in my garage for an entire week thinking they would air out. Nope. Ten days in from having unpackaged then now, and the smell is still overwhelming. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m still using them, I still think they are super cute, I’m beyond thrilled with how much they have motivated my kids, but they will just have to live in my garage instead of a cute jar on my kitchen counter.

These are great! My 7 y.o daughter actually pushed the candy aside and kept looking through her eggs wanting more of these coins. She was excited to see what each one said and loved that some were dates, desserts, and money. I like seeing her little face light up as she comes to me with one she wants to “cash in” and gets excited when she uses it. I love the spontaneity it allows. Dinner plans? Naw, she just decided it’s pizza night! 💕
