The Heather Grey tee you received is a middle ground grey that does make it easier to see vs a black tee but not as easy as a white tee. Hi Barbie! Thank you for your feedback, we greatly appreciate the information so other customers can make informed decisions about our products! The tee you received is a thinner material because it is not 100% cotton. It is a tee comprised of cotton/poly/rayon materials that thin out the material a little more to make it moveable vs stiff like a 100% cotton. These Bella+Canvas tees are pretty standard for our deals and hold up very well in washes. We are sorry to hear it wasn't quite what you had hoped for in terms of shirt thickness.
