The material is very flimsy and doesn't seem like it will last a season when you take weather into account. I think they are visually appealing, but needed more for durability.

It's an oversized computer mousepad, not a placemat. Also, too small for a dog. I should have double checked the measurements. Would be an ok size for a cat.
