Glad I listened to other reviews and went up a size. They fit perfectly in the waist and leg, apart from the length. That being said, these are definitely not made for shorter people. I am 5'3" and these are pretty long. Not much you can do about that with the zipper on the ankle. The green is definitely brighter than I expected, as is the color of the zipper. It is VERY bright gold.
