We were very excited to see this item in the mail as the tracking did not update. However, before we even had a chance to hang it, sitting on our counter in the air conditioning, it began to look rusted. It now looks awful and my son is very disappointed.

Yes, our products will rust if left unsealed. We recommend painting with a clear or tinted spraypaint like Rustoleum to prevent rust. It's not too late to seal it! Rust spots can be sanded off or painted over.
