Edges of cutouts very jagged. Not clean line carving. Plan to paint as the metal has burns and discoloration.

Personally, I love the slightly "rugged" look of the burn marks, though it is quite easy to take the additional steps mentioned in the "care of" slip included in the packaging to get the "clean cut" look. They even included instructions on how to give it a rusted look. A very versatile piece!
