It's a little rough, like someone didn't really polish it up. There appear to be some burn marks or something on it. It's also starting to rust and I've had it less than a week. Despite that, the design is super cute and looks very rustic. I love it!
Any opening in the metal is tarnished and not smoothed -- one could easily cut them self!
