No at all what I thought it would be. Lilac color was not the color I thought it was more of a blue than a purple.

I was extremely disappointed in my necklace. When I opened it up the shape didn't look much like my state. I'm from NC and I understand it is a difficult design, but a proud North Carolinian I'm not sure I'll get much use out of it.

Handbag has an awful smell to it and no matter what i've tried i cant get it out :( i have it hanging up hoping eventually it will air out but this far i havent had any luck
