Cheap. Very large plastic bead, does not look like the picture of a "pearl"

Purchased this as a gift for a friend but will not be gifting it. The necklace appears very cheap. The phrase on the card is the one I ordered, but the card is thin and the color washed-out. It was cheap, but it looked so much better in the pictures, so I was hopeful.
