Received my coolies yesterday. There was a very strong, unpleasant odor when I opened the packages. I left them both open overnight, hoping it would dissipate, but it hasn't after 24 hours. If it remains, I won't be able to use these at all, which is very disappointing.

That’s the smell of new neoprene, just like new tennis shoes or tennis balls, anything made from rubber as a distinct smell. It’s not harmful, some people are just more sensitive to it than others. I promise it will dissapate quickly after being out of the package and in open air. You can also wash and tumble dry low or air dry to speed it along.

These coffee coolies are FANTASTIC. I have one that I purchased at Dunkin Donuts many years ago (not what they sell today) and I have been looking ever since for the same quality. They keep your drinks cold or hot and definitely no sweaty rings on your table or desk. Well worth the price too.
