This totally works. The instructions were different than what you see in the pictures here. It doesnt say you have to cut off the front little holders that u need to pick up with tongs from the boiling water. But if you don't remove them, you can't use the light. So I cut them off using common sense. Directions suck. Product is good.

The lenses arrived sticky... and I cannot wipe them clean. The hinges are loose and an eyeglass screwdriver could not tighten them. I expected them to be Wal-Mart quality, but this is worse.

Much more lightweight than I imagined they would be. The "M" wouldn't stand up like an "M" and kept falling over because the magnet was so weak, many others as well. My dog walked by and knocked them off the fridge very easily. I've removed them from the fridge since and just have them in a bag to try to use when needed with a cookie sheet or something. Disappointed because I thought they would be fun for my little one to play with while I was cooking in the kitchen. Very colorful and cute design. I had bigger expectations for the price.
