Extremely strong smell when opened. I had to let it sit out so I can use it as a gift for someone.

Looks great - is as advertised. Took 1 star off because the pages are stuck together where they are pained gold on the edges, so you have to unstick them one by one which is annoying as they are super super thin. But it's very beautiful in person and I can't wait to use it.
