I bought it as a gift so I haven't opened it or tried scratching it. It came quickly in the mail in a really nice cardboard tube as pictured.

Size is exactly what I ordered. I got the one with state flowers - looks great! I'm not a big fan of the scraper tool. I had to find something else in order to get to the tiny parts.
