The spiral binding sticks every time the book is opened & closed. The content & space to write the content for grades K-3 is not age appropriate.

Only drawback is that you can't add pages to the book (i.e. if your student does three years of pre-school). There are sets you can buy but they don't fit in the book. It would be great to have the option available so the book could be customized to children's education "journey" and look just as cohesive as it does if you have missed some years and take the pages out. Also, mine was assembled incorrectly-many pages were upside down so I had to reassemble the book when I got it. Not a huge deal but I noticed other reviews had issues with assembly too, so I would recommend checking out your book before writing in it.
