I thought this dress had actual buttons however they were only for decoration. I ordered to wear after surgery and they will not work.
I love this dress!! I ordered the turquoise and wore it to a bridal tea!! I got the best complements. Super comfortable too!

Very flattering dress
True to size although I'd recommend going with your larger size if you're between sizes. Or if you'd like a looser fit (like the first/cover photo), then consider going up 1-2 sizes. Also, I assume the cover photo has a filter, I ordered olive green, and it matches the other photos (with the blonde model). Which is what I expected. Also, the pocket is not a kangaroo pocket. It's two hand-sized pockets. It does not go all the way through.
