Soothing Gel Heel Moisturizing Socks

The first time I put the sock on, noticed a pull in the seem that keeps unraveling. I emailed immediately asking for a replacement, which I think is a reasonable request as it is hard to wear a sock that does not stay up. I have now received 2 emails saying I cannot return them due to hygiene issues.....I want a replacement, not a return- not sure why that would not be honored.
