Do not let the other reviews fool you. I ordered a king size for my queen mattress as I often upsize bedding. As it does work, I would advise that it is fairly large and the queen size would probably have worked better. I am very pleased with the quality of the comforter and it's shams. However The sheets are quite thin. Overall a good buy.
