They are too tight around the wrist and there is a big gap on the palm of your hand where they are supposed to fold back .

I am so sorry you did not like these. They are a FAVORITE of thousands on Jane. You are completely right about the 28". The TOTAL LENGTH is 38", not inseam. So from top of the waist to the bottom. The inseam was listed right under that. Here is what the description states: Total Length: S-L: 36.5" 1X/2X 38" 2X/3X: 38" Inseam: S-L: 26.5" 1X/2X: 27.5" 2X/3X: 27.5"
