This situation is understandably frustrating. I just want any potential customers to know that this is not the way I normally conduct business. I take pride in my work and value my customers very much. Unfortunately, I was running a day behind because I had a medical emergency and was in the hospital. Because of this, some orders that were scheduled to ship on a Friday were pushed to the following Monday. Even still, this particular order was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday but the USPS experienced delays that were out of my control causing the order to arrive after Mother’s Day. Had I been able to ship the order on time it would have likely made it on time and I accept full responsibility for that but unfortunately things happen in all our lives that we can’t control & we have to do our best to work around them. I did reach out to this customer directly to explain but never received a response. I happen to be a very understanding and compassionate person but I realize that many people only see how things affect them and that prevents them from sympathizing with others in times of struggle. Nevertheless, I missed my shipment date so I suppose I deserve a 1 star review and zero compassion. Moving forward I can only hope to avoid unforeseen circumstances that inconvenience others. Thank you.
