Here’s your free license to get your creative on and go crazy. This is all you baby.

Yeah sure we’ll give you a decent outline… and maybe some ideas. But let your desires and your tastebuds lead this whole process.

This is the kind of snack you can throw in your kid’s lunch boxes, keep in the car, conceal in your office desk and even put in little jars to give away as gifts. Think of those little trail mixes your mom may have made for you as a kid. This is that, except on steroids and way more gourmet, not to mention way more delicious (no offense to your sweet mom).

Simply choose the ingredients you want to include, throw them all together in a big-old mixing bowl, toss them a few times and, voila! There you have it.

Here’s a little outline in more detail:

1 cup almonds

½ cup cashews

½ cup candied pecans

(To make these yourself, set a small pan on medium heat. Add 1 tbsp coconut oil and 1 tbsp cane sugar. Stir until the cane sugar begins to combine and melt into the oil. Add in ½ cup pecans and mix until the sugar-oil combination coats the top of them. Remove them from the stove and spread out the pecans on a piece of wax paper to cool.)

½ cup dark chocolate bits

½ cup dried blueberries

½ cup mulberries

½ cup dried cherries

¼ cup coconut shreds

¼ cup goji berries (soak in water and let dry prior to adding)

¼ cup toasted salted pumpkin seeds

(To make these yourself, put a pan on low heat on the stove and add the ¼ cup pumpkin seeds. Add ½ tsp salt and 1 tsp olive oil and stir until they begin to brown. Take them off the heat and allow to cool.)

¼ cup cacao nibs
