Lemon Polka Dots

Raising two kids created too many ideas in this head of mine and I soon found I needed an outlet!! Which is how Lemon Polka Dots was born. I started making and selling on Etsy to feed my hobby (and my sick love for fabric) and keep my imagination growing. I began with pajamas on a shop called Crazy Adorable. Making my daughter a pair of pajamas stirred something inside of me and became a sewing passion. My daughter has inspired me in so many ways that I thank her for most of the ideas that pop into my head. I then met the next love of my life and married him. Between him and our new little guy I have found even more inspiration and amazing support on this journey of mine. Between kids and working full time, I had to close Crazy Adorable. Lemon Polka Dots was born when I decided to be a full time mom and felt the bug to sew again. I love to sew and create new things mostly for children. I think kids need a way to express their creativeness and imaginations, which is why I love to make things in fun, bright fabrics for them. I put all of my own personality and care into every single thing that I make. If I don't absolutely love it, then I won't sell it. I've learned that kids are wonderful tools for inspiration and for examples on how to be a better person in your own life. I make and sell accessories for babies, children and teens and even a few items for women pop up now and then. I've also started making different accessories for home and starting to experiment with candle making. Everything is 100% handmade by me. I buy the supplies, cut the fabric, sew and package and ship. I've started coloring my own fabric to use and can't wait to get product made with it! As of right now I only sell on Jane and Etsy. I'm a huge fan of Jane.com and have been so impressed with the products I've bought here! I'm so grateful to be a part of this amazing community and for the wonderful opportunity it has given to my shop.
