Just days after Kristin Sumbot gave birth to her first little baby, she found out she had terminal brain cancer. After beating Leukemia and being in remission for five years, the last words Kristin expected to hear were “you have cancer”. Despite being overcome with the devastating news, Kristin’s outlook on life has shown so much positivity and strength.

There are so many layers to Kristin’s story, which is what made us fall in love with it. There’s the incredible optimism she has, the passion she has for life, the love she has for her family, and her heartbreaking acceptance that she might not be around to see her son grow up.
