3 Easy Tips for Staying Fit

  1. Get Enough Sleep

Yes! One of the easiest ways to stay fit doesn’t even have anything to do with exercise! Getting a good night’s sleep on a regular basis boosts your energy, regulates your metabolism, repairs your muscles and makes you happier. Aim for at least 7-8 hours of sleep a night. 

  1. Walk and Take the Stairs

Next time you’re at the grocery store, pick a far parking space to get in more steps. Next time you’re at the mall, take the stairs instead of the elevator. You may not think this makes much of a difference, but even the smallest amount of physical activity can make a world of difference in your health.

  1. Reward Yourself

Remember, no one is perfect 100% of the time. It’s okay to have a cheat meal after a difficult workout. It’s okay to take a day off from exercise to relax and recharge. It’s okay to sit on the couch and binge watch your favorite show. Don’t punish yourself or you’ll burn out! Reward yourself for all the hard work you put into your health!
